Hello and thank you for visiting our web page! Feel free to look around, if for some reason you don't find what you are looking for you can always shoot us an e-mail. Below you will find out a bit about our husbandry and breeding practices as well as more information on us and links to helpful reptile related web pages.
About Us
We are an in home, family operated, breeder of high color reptiles located in Central Oregon. We specialize in high color gargoyle geckos though we also keep and breed many other reptiles. Everything from hard to find captive bred geckos, a variety of snakes and even a few species of invertebrates. We are not a reseller though from time to time you may see an animal listed as 'outcross'. This means the animal was not bred by us originally but for some reason the animal no longer fits into our breeding plans. All other animals are bred here in our home.
We pride ourselves on our husbandry and the health of our animals. Top quality food is all we offer! We feed Repashy Super Foods to all our MRP eaters and we breed our own feeder insects and rodents. All of the critters we sell are held often and socialized to make excellent pets. We do not line breed our reptiles. We feel the practice is over done in the hobby, so if you are looking to find new blood for a project with great genetics but don't want to worry about its history, you've found it. Not only do we not line breed, we do not do group pairings or have multiple females per cage. We do this because we want to be 100% sure about the parentage of each egg. If you are interested in seeing the parents of an animal we sell we can show you exactly who they came from!
We do vend at a few reptile expos each year, you are most likely to find us at the Portland, Oregon (January and August) and Seattle, Washington (April) shows. Feel free to look us up on Fauna Board of Inquiry for our customer reviews as well as our iHerp page that lists most of our animals (for sale and not for sale) as soon as they hatch. You can also find us posting on many reptile forums as 'Lunar Gecko' and our Facebook fan page is updated almost daily.
We started and head up Central Oregon Herpetology (aka COR HERP). If you are in Oregon and looking for a group of people who enjoy keeping and talking about reptiles and inverts please feel free to look us up and sign up if you like. It's free and participation is optional.
Being in Oregon, we generally do not ship from December until March but because the weather is so uncertain, though we sometime can break that rule and sometimes it will be extended. We never ship during mid-December to mid-January because of holiday shipping delays. Sorry for any inconvenience but our first priority is the animal's safety.
Feel free to send us an e-mail with any questions. We will get back to you as soon as we can!
All the Best and Happy Herping,
Sarah & Jake
